The lucky winner Mr. Pedone was selected from more than 1000 entries received at the CEDIA expo. DCS Introduces High-Performance Motorized In-Wall and In-Ceiling Loudspeakers
New motorized in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers enable custom installers to easily direct audiophile-quality sound in virtually any home theater setting without the use of additional remotes or control boxes
Cypress, Calif. – Release Date – Digital Cinema Sound (DCS), a leading provider of high-quality, home theater audio solutions for the custom electronics industry, has introduced a new line of motorized in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers. DCS’ complete assortment of in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers feature a motorized inner chamber housing each speaker’s tweeters and woofers—which can be easily adjusted for an optimal listening experience. By compensating for any changes in a home theater or entertainment system setting, DCS’ new loudspeakers offer custom installation professionals in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeaker options that rival the performance of free-standing speakers while blending into any home’s surrounding décor.
Unlike conventional in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers, which require users to manually adjust only tweeters woofers to the desired listening or home theater setting. Unlike Some of the conventional flush mount in-wall and in-ceiling speakers which have a fixed or adjustable direction angle, usually less than 150, which has limited to optimize sound coverage in installation; Some conventional flush mount in-wall and in-ceiling speakers which have pivoting tweeter which could be adjusted direction at larger angle but the woofer which could be designed to handle some portion of sensitive mid-band frequency can just stay flush and this has wasted the good performance ,if the woofer has, in mid-band.
DCS’ inner-chamber easily adjusts to the intended listening area via a silent, reliable AC-powered motor. DCS’s unique technology allows the speaker’s inner-chamber—housing the tweeters and woofers—to pivot; directing sound to the desired listening area without adjusting the entire speaker. With only the inner-chamber pivoting the loudspeaker’s grill remains inconspicuously flush against a wall or ceiling at all times.
While other motorized in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers require additional programming and the use of an additional remote or control box, the DCS series is synchronized with the switched outlet found in most audio/video receivers. This eliminates the common frustration of having an in-wall or in-ceiling speaker automatically retract when a movie or music sustains periods of silence in addition to the frustration of having to turn on multiple components using multiple devices
